Caye Caulker, a beautiful little island in Belize
On the Caribbean coast of Belize there is a coral island called Caye Caulker. It is a small and narrow island whose town is called the same, a name that either comes from the practice of masking the veins of wooden boats to make them airtight (something many carpenters do here), or the name with which it was baptized by the Spaniards, Cayo Hicaco.
