This island is a unique tropical experience. Cayo Tobacco Island is a place to carefree, relax and be surrounded by the beaches in the waters of Belize.
 
Tobacco Cay is a five-acre island located in the middle of the Belize reef barrier, and is part of the Cayo Aguas del Sur Marine Reserve thirty minutes from the banks of Dangriga. There you can only arrive in a boat taxi; this taxi takes you from both Hopkins and Dangriga sites between 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. everyday.
 
This gem has soft beaches, tall palm trees and turquoise waters making Cayo Tobacco look like it came out of a Bond movie. There are six cabins on the shore of the beach overlooking the ocean, they are rustic, equipped with rain showers and solar panels. The island is completely off the grid, Wi-Fi is available for a daily fee, but there are no televisions or phones. The hammocks hanging around the beach will give you instant peace of mind.

Beautiful Beaches 

During your stay on the island you will have the opportunity to practice world class snorkeling, on the east side where the best diving spots in the Caribbean are. On the island you will have access to the coral reef for several days, and you will also be able to see it from all angles and enjoy exotic fish. There is kayaking and diving equipment available for rent.
