Description

Meet at the dock in front of the Belize Chocolate Company at 8:00am for an 8:30am departure. Alternatively, use 'Ridge and Reef Adventures' on Google Maps for directions to the check-in office. After gear-up, embark on a boat trip to Hol Chan Marine Reserve for 45 to 60 minutes of snorkeling among vibrant marine flora and fauna.

Next, visit Shark and Ray Alley where you can swim near nurse sharks ranging from 3 to 12 feet. Expect to see horse-eyed jacks, snappers, and other species during this 20 to 45 minute experience.

The tour continues to Coral Gardens, where you snorkel above large coral formations housing various fish, including loggerhead turtles. Then move on to the North Channel near Caye Caulker with a 30 to 45 minute snorkel opportunity; here, you may see manatees and nurse sharks. If manatees are not spotted, the guide will lead you to an alternative location.

Around 12:30pm, break for lunch followed by free time to explore Caye Caulker at your own pace. At 2:30pm, regroup at the Caye Caulker Split. The boat then stops on the leeward side of the island to feed large tarpons, visit a sea horse sanctuary, and view southern stingrays.

The return boat ride to San Pedro lasts approximately 35 minutes, departing between 3:15 and 3:30pm.
