Description
The service departs from the Belize Go meeting point on Flores Island, Peten, Guatemala, at 6:00 AM. Staff will be present with a clearly identified Belize Go vehicle.
Tickets are checked against the passenger manifest before boarding. Immigration forms are provided to facilitate Belize entry procedures, along with trip logistics information.
The journey to the Guatemala-Belize border takes approximately two and a half hours by bus. Upon arrival, passengers disembark to undergo mandatory passport and luggage inspections.
Immigration and customs procedures are personal and usually take around 30 minutes, depending on traveler volume. At the border, shops are available for purchasing drinks and snacks.
First, passengers complete formalities at the Guatemalan Immigration office, then walk about 100 meters to the Belizean Immigration office for entry processing.
After finishing all border procedures, passengers board the bus again for a 30-minute drive to San Ignacio, Belize.
In San Ignacio, drop-offs are available at hotels within the town center, including Yellow Belly Hostel, Old House, Bellas Backpacker, and Matus Guest House.
