Description
Day 1: Belize to Flores
Arrive in Belize and meet your guide. Travel to Flores, stopping at Yaxha-Nakum-Naranjo National Park. Explore the forested wetlands, lagoons, and pools, and look for local wildlife like the Central American river turtle and spider monkeys. Continue to Flores and enjoy a traditional Guatemalan dinner.
Day 2: Flores
After breakfast, visit Tikal National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Wander through the Mayan ruins and learn about the historic area. Afterward, enjoy a late lunch at a local restaurant in Flores. Spend the rest of the day exploring at your own pace.
Day 3: Belize City
Return to Belize, stopping in San Ignacio for a cooking class. Learn to cook traditional Maya dishes using ancient techniques. Hear stories from local Maya cooks before enjoying your homemade meal. Continue to Belize City and enjoy a rooftop dinner.
Day 4: Belize City
After breakfast, your adventure comes to an end. If you’d like to stay longer to explore more of Central America, just speak to your booking agent ahead of time.
