Description
Depart from San Pedro and head toward Zone A in the Hol Chan Marine Reserve. Once there, dive in from the boat and snorkel around a small channel in the reef. The tour starts in the shallow portion of the reserve, so that everyone can get accustomed to the water conditions and equipment. Once all guests are feeling comfortable, the fun will really begin. Follow your guide around the zone as they point out all the various marine life, from turtles to nurse sharks, spotted eagle rays to green moray eels. This portion of the tour lasts between 45 minutes and an hour. All guides will be carrying a life ring for anyone who gets tired of swimming, or who needs to adjust their equipment. Hop back on the boat and enjoy some fresh water and fruits. From here, sail for five minutes to the Shark and Ray Alley. As soon as the boat is moored, jump in the water among nurse sharks, southern sting rays, and Caribbean sting rays. Snorkel for as long as the marine life stays near the boat. Climb back aboard for more fruit and water. Finally, conclude the tour with a 20-minute ride back to the dive shop.Includes
