The transfer departs around 3:00 pm from your hotel or arranged pickup location. The driver will maintain a passenger list for quick check-in and provide you with a wristband.
After boarding all passengers in San Ignacio, the bus travels approximately 25 minutes to the Belize border with Guatemala.
At the border, the driver explains immigration and customs procedures. Each traveler is responsible for their own luggage during these formalities.
There is a mandatory Belize departure tax of USD 20.00 per person, payable in cash at the border.
Following immigration and customs clearance, the group boards the bus again to continue to Flores Petén, Guatemala.
